    Evidence-based practice is an essential part of medicine, allowing clinicians to integrate their own experiences with up-to-date research, improving clinical practice and patient outcomes.1 This is equally important in the military setting, and examples include Clinical Guidelines for Operations (CGOs)2 and the Medic’s Primary Healthcare Treatment (PHC) Protocols.3 These guidelines aim to improve patient outcomes while undergoing treatment in the deployed setting and are readily available to military clinicians in PDF format.
